So we want to bring her in. Previously, when we hired the current, the now former legal secretary, we brought her in on a, I want to say D, because she had no experience, she didn't have college degree, she wasn't experienced at it. The one we're bringing in is very experienced, is currently in a scale E. We reduced the position from a D to a D previously because of the lack of experience. The incoming has that experience, just by reinstating that back up to an E so that her, her pay doesn't change. It's not a new hire to the county. It's a lateral move within the county and it would not change her rate of pay at all. And this was clearly spelled out in the salary ordinance previous to this request. D or E. Uh-huh. I thought in the salary, you have to have a two years bachelor. It states in the salary ordinance that a positional legal secretary holds a bachelor's degree from her academic college. This will be paid on a wage scale E. You all can't make the decision to allow her to be paid on that wage scale based on her experience. If that's what you want, we will have to have in the salary ordinance to state that. She does not hold a bachelor's degree. I don't know the answer to that right now. I know she's been working for Judge Klein doing similar work for a number of years. And it's highly qualified for this position. You don't know if she has a bachelor's degree? I don't know the answer to that. I can get you that answer. I don't have that answer for you. I don't know one way or another. I don't know. I don't know. Does she does or not? When I talked to his office, they were aware that it would take an amendment to the salary ordinance to do this. So frankly, they do not have a bachelor's degree. But I don't know that. He was just telling me that I have to ask the ordinance before we could do this. If she had, I thought you were coming because she had bachelor. And that's why you're not moving to the elite. But if she does not have a bachelor, I can't see it moving. Well, unfortunately, I don't have that answer for you. I would ask then, in that case, to amend the salary ordinance to account for her experience in this field, we cannot train it into somebody very quickly. As Judge Klein told you, it's going to take him six months to train up her replacement. She has the skills and experience to justify the e-rate. This position was at the e-rate previously, and she's currently in the e-rate, doing that level of work now, and bringing her in to our office at the same rate. Yeah, but the previous could have been shared bachelor's, too. Yes. So, I would feel more comfortable here. We need to find out.
