We were at a natural stopping point. I'm here to request I have one person leaving my office. Their last day is officially tomorrow. And I have Donella is retiring at the end of the year, so we have to get somebody trained up. She's going to another office where, frankly, she doesn't have to work the brutal hours. I mean, I only had five of your cell phone numbers. I was going to send you a text last week at 10 o'clock at night. Of all of us still going strong over there because criminals a little bit different. But no, that's what I'm asking for is permission to hire for that position. It's not a new job. It's just the same slot. OK. And this is for the one that is technically done tomorrow. She's done tomorrow. She's done tomorrow. Yeah, today was her last day. She took off tomorrow. And she starts at another county job this week. OK. So are you saying the person you bring in is somebody Donella's going to be able to train her? Yes. OK. Yeah, you know, this is going to take about six months to, it's like drinking from a fire hose. But yes, we're bringing in somebody that is more than capable. Do you already have a personal mind now? I do. And I'm poaching. Yeah. I'm poaching at any time. I think I have to say you couldn't have gotten another person better. No, I think perfect. My loss, your game. Yes. Wow, Martha. So when's your higher request? Next month. OK. I will make a motion to approve this higher request. I got a first from Amy. Oh, sorry. Phil, seconded. Any further questions for Judge Klein? I'll play with motion. Please say hi. Hi. Host. Good to go, Judge. Thank you, you guys have a good night. Thank you. Thank you. OK. Alison May, you're doing well. Hello. Hello, counsel. How are you? I'm good. How are you? I've got a little packet here if you pass around to each counsel. Remember, warm me. Thank you. I will go ahead and get started here so you got a long list of things to take care of today. Hello, my name is Alison May. I am the new director of the Mitchell Community Public Library. And I am here to propose to you the renewal of our bond. We are up for another one. I am excited to be here at Mitchell. We are looking to do a lot of great things for our community. But to do those things, Mitchell needs a library that can function as that community have, to be a safe building. And so I have a team here with me today to sort of walk you through this process. There is no decision that is being asked of you today. This is simply a proposal to walk you through what this process looks like so that we can come back next month and make a decision together. I would like to introduce now Sarah Carell from Ice Miller to present some of that preliminary information. Thanks, Alison. I'm Sarah Carell at Ice Miller. We serve as bond counsel to the library. So today we're really here to share some information and sort of kick off this process. The law changed in 2019 and the library is in Indiana are required to receive approval from a fiscal body before they can issue debt. This debt is the debt of the library so it is paid from their debt service tax levy and it does not count against the county's constitutional debt limit. However, because the library board is appointed, rather than elected, we do come to an elected board before we issue that debt. Like Alison said, we are not asking for any approval tonight but we did want to share with you as we will be back in the coming months for final approval. Before we come back, this is not a controlled project so it's a smaller project so we will be going through several library board meetings. We will be holding public hearings at the library board as well as asking for you to host a public hearing here before we issue these bonds. With that, I will hand it back to Alison to talk about some of the library services. So with that, here today I have shared with you some key insights that I have gathered for you in your packet.
