Start off with the jail population. Total was 83, 64 males. 19 females. We currently holding 10 for DOC. We have zero parole holds. And then we have two level six felons that were sentenced to serve their time here locally. So 83 is the total. We're up to 92 towards the end of last week, so back to 83 now. Second thing, I just wanted to give you all a shout out and a special thanks for taking care of the jail officers with the plan that we had. We have probably gotten twice as many applications as normal after I put that out. And some of them seem very promising. We've done some of the initial testing and started to do some of the interviews too. So things are going well there. And the current employees are very grateful and there's an obvious improvement in their positivity over there right now, so appreciate that. Did you need to do what you want to do while we're going to talk about jail? There's a big note here, so we'll not forget it. When we voted on that last time, on the jailers, we reduced that back to 23, did the increase the whole nine yards. Well, the one on the matron, where we moved, in fact, I've got your original sheet. It was kind of part of that, but it wasn't clear. And that's raising the cheap make from skill level B, which is increasing $4,200, $5,000 or basically $2.02 an hour. This puts her making $500 more than jail officers, same seniority, correct? Yes. Okay. That part kind of slid through the cracks last time. But maybe not. The chief matron should be on skill level B. Should be on skill level A. We fired a salary, or did she was on skill level A, but we just moved it on the salary ordinance. But we need to take a vote on this one and this clarify the clarification. We just need a clarification because it's not included in the fact that it is, but it goes back to the part of me. That's when it was clear as my, if we do this, which is no big deal, there, then that clarifies the meeting prior, because it's not clear, right? Okay. Okay. So what I need to do is what we've already done, but we just need a motion on this is to move the matron to a skill level B, which we kind of did last time, do you have a motion on that? So many. Okay. Janie, first. Second. Feel second. Any further questions or comments? On favor of motion, please say aye. Aye. Opposed? That's fixed. Martha, that is fixed. That's right. Okay. All right. Thank you. And then the last thing I was going to go over, I don't know if you guys brought your end of the updates from the sheriff's office that I put together and emailed out to you ahead of time, but there were just some things I was going to go through there real quick. I won't give you the Tim Sled version. I'll give you a little abbreviated version, but just one touch base talking about the activity for the year, I'm super proud of how hard all my folks work. You know, we have, we're really down six spots, we've cut several spots, budget wise and stuff. So, but we still responded to 9,319 calls for service. Our deputies did, wrote 2,478 traffic contacts, 235 of those tickets, the rest were warnings, arrested 358 people, 91 of those were from traffic stops, investigated 535 crashes. And then one of the things I'm really proud of is, you know, I've been saying for a few years, we're really going to focus on drug crimes, specifically meth dealing and things and drug dealing. We seized and or assisted, seizing with joint investigations about 9 pounds of methamphetamine last year, two ounces of heroin and fentanyl, and about three ounces of cocaine. So we seized a lot of drugs last year off the streets here in Warts County. This batch, we had just over 12,911 calls that we answered, and another 38,988 admin line calls that came in, so just over 50,000 calls that are dispatchers handled. Moving to the jail, we booked in 1,148 inmates last year, released 1,124, so I guess that means our population grew by 24 over the course of the over the year. But I broke down some of the main charges and stuff that people were booked in for.
