12-23-2025 Council Meeting [41:58-47:01]

I have a high request for the truck driver for district two. Got a young man born for more pay. So I don't do it like since it's possible. Since it's a good season, if you have some flat drive. Good argument. Okay. Any questions? Listen to this. Does that want to be a problem? Yeah. So this one is not kind of general. So this is. Motion to it for you. Okay. Jeff Sutton. Any questions or comments on the motion? I'll play your motion. Please say aye. Aye. Opposed? Yes. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Mr. President, Council members, Mary Christmas. May I come in? You too, Frank. We have a friendly to the instruments. I'm not asking for any additional to this time. You are. Okay. The estimated prices of former yen and yen is comply with this new state policy. Okay. It's not called the law. It's called the law. The law. That's called the law. That's called the law. I think that's what I got from you that day. Yes. The council has already received their home and water. What's hand is down? I have been approached this. They dropped us on us for our reason of the invasion already. And Indianapolis is decided to drop this on us at this time. The only option I really see to afford this is perhaps contact of State Representative Chris Leon State Senator Eric Cook. And asking to institute a change that will allow us to go through the rest of this year based on this project and not institute these changes until January 1st of 2027. Because the budget constraints, and it's not just Donald County, it's 91 other counties that are in the same boat with us that their budgets have already been set for the year. And now you're trying to impose these extra funds on the Veterans Office to maintain a accreditation. Well, when you don't talk about this one, I mean, it was just third up, and that's one I got this all out of the council. But there's nothing we can do on this. This is why I've arrived now. This has been handed down. And Janie's letter, well, Janie and I talked about this on the accreditation. And I'm not seeing the way around it. So I think there is questions on it, Mark, and I talked about the phone partner, which is not seeming to be a problem. Did you say you already supplied phones for them? No, not for the Veterans Office. There are some kind of offices, prosecutors, things like that that we supply phones for. Yes. I'm misunderstood. Thank you. So the phones, in my opinion, are not an issue. I like the three places. The 18th, the 21st, the 1st, the 1st, the 1st, the 1st, the 1st, the 1st, the 1st, because they don't do non-tax. That would be common friends. Who's that through now? That would be through the camera. And it depends on which plan they decided to go in. I got to be obligated to do that. Well, did you, Brad, did this sheet come, did somebody put this sheet together for you to, as a synopsis for this? So I put that together after I went online and came up with a price issue. Because I read this and I didn't come up with this. I thought it said had provided a phone. It didn't necessarily say you could either have an office phone or cell phones. I didn't see that it was a mandate that you have cell phones too soon. Well, that was presented to us. It was mandate. So we'll have an attorney that can look this over and help us out to it. But what they state is the policy is numbered as it has probably been adopted as a regulation in the end of the ministry. So it's law, whatever it is. So there's not enough information in that policy to answer that question. And also I didn't see anything in it. So the statute itself that authorizes it to make regulations should have some more information. I'll take a look at it. I don't know, Brad. Okay. Okay. Thank you. That's that helped you out a lot. It would help us out tremendously if we could get close phones until January 1st, 2027. So every county can budget for these additional costs that the states mandate. This is an unfounded, unfunded mandate, bottom line. You know, the app, which you and I talked about, the state will furnish one.

{# E23 (Nick, ruling section 1 answer 10): quoting a bill or a court opinion works the way quoting a news article works. Select a passage above and the same panel opens: the passage goes to the official you choose, with this document's own address as its source and its own type. #}
