11-25-2025 Council Regular Meeting [18:12-23:16]

Any questions for Val? Okay. Except a motion to accept. So moved. Julie's first. Second. Amy's second. Any further questions on this? I'll favor the motion. Please say aye. Aye. Opposed? Okay. Val, that one's passed. Thank you. And all you all have a nice Thanksgiving holiday. You too. Thank you. You too. Okay. Judge Nykerk. No. No. It's, Judge Nykerk is strong. Definitely can't fill those shoes. But I'm here tonight to make a request on behalf of Lauren's Circuit Court. I do need to cover one thing first, though. As I was standing in the back, I had multiple people offer me their seats. So I just want to say that I stood on my own accord. They're kind gentlemen and ladies who noticed and offered me their seats. Which I appreciate. We live in a good community. Good leaders. Okay. On to the point. Here to request a transfer to buy some books at law books. We do not have enough money in our books line item that's budgeted for. We, long story short, we were built twice for books this year. Typically we pay for our law books in our ears. But I suppose the company wanted to catch up. And so they bold us. So we'd be paying for this year's books. We won't be in our ears anymore. But we do need to transfer funds for much remaining in the juvenile referee's salary. Budget item over to the books fund is what we would be doing. And Martha, do you have the exact number? I believe it's a slightly over 3,000. 3,000 to 7430s. Thank you. So that's the request. To transfer the already budgeted funds for juvenile referee that will not be utilized this year. So just transferring some of those funds. 3,274 over to books. Okay. Remove this request here. Okay. I've got it first from Jeff, a second from Janey. Any questions for Judge Gotti? Hearing none, all in favor of the motion. Please say aye. Aye. Opposed? Okay. Passed. Thank you for your time. Thank you. Happy Thanksgiving. You too. Okay. Jessica. Allen. How's Jessica? I'm good. How are you? Good. I'm just here on ordinance 2020-507 to get your approval to pay my girls 2026 salary out of my recorders' perpetuation fund. Seven. Seven. Ah. That's what? I can't say that. That word? Yeah, that one. Yeah, I was told to ask you to say it. That's right. Well, right here in the rest of my... Okay. Any questions for Jessica on this one? Okay. We'll accept a motion on Jessica's own resolution for ordinance 2020-507. You first. No. I'm ready. I'm ready. Okay. Let's motion on this one. Motion to approve. Thank you. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay.
