11-25-2025 Council Regular Meeting [7:00-12:05]

Okay. Need a motion to table, this one. So many? Julie's first. Still a second. Any more questions on this one? On further motion, please say aye. Aye. Pose. Okay. This one is table. Okay. And then November 4th, the special meeting. Is there anybody got anything on that one? Okay. Then we'll entertain a motion to pass this one. So moved. Amy's first. Still a motion. Jeff's second on the motion. Any questions or comments? On favor of the motion? Please say aye. Aye. Opposed? That one passed. May I make an observation? Sure. Martha, don't you send these minutes out and ask us the recommended? There are many questions. Make it easier if you could maybe talk to Martha before the meeting. And then she could have a corrected version for us instead of having to wait until. But she can't check this until she goes back and goes over her. It's just not today. True. But I think there's a good example of why it needs to be discussed in the open meeting was today. You know, I would have brought what I thought was a correction to Martha that was incorrect. So that's my thought is that unless it's a spelling error or something like that, that it should be discussed in an open meeting. I agree. Okay. So that one is passed, right? Okay. Next one up is Martha Turner on the ordinance. Okay. So I have ordinance 20509, which is the additional reductions to the 2025 budget in the amount of $11,190. This is the one that got submitted the first round. Yes. And I think we're all aware of this one when it comes through the first time. Okay. Any questions on this one? I would move for the adoption of the ordinance. Okay. I've got a first from Jeff, second from Janie. Any questions on this resolution? All in favor of the motions, please say aye. Aye. Opposed? Okay. Martha, that was done. So my next item is that I have a transfer. I would like to transfer $673.75 out of my postage count into my office supply line to take care of a negative balance due to the higher cost of supplies in the additional amount of paper that I'm going through. Okay. This one is transferred. Do you think the security through today and the year? Yes. Postage. Anybody got any questions on this one? Okay. We'll accept the motion. So moved. Amy first on the motion on this one. Phil, seconds. Any questions or comments? All in favor of the motion? Please say aye. Aye. Opposed? Okay. That was passed. Okay. Rodney Fish. Good evening. I'm here to make a request for additional appropriation. And that is to move $150,000 out of the Kim Cap into our regular maintenance budget. So that we can have funding available to cover all the expenses that we seem to be incurring here over the last few weeks. So if you've read the justification, we have a number of issues that are going on. And I'm not certain we don't even have accurate estimates as to what some of the costs are going to be. For example, the elevator. We thought maybe the repair on that was going to run about $34,000. As of today, we've determined that that is not going to be an adequate amount.
