11-25-2025 Council Regular Meeting [1:57-7:00]

We have 25 seconds. By always clock. By always clock. It's here. Got you. If you please stand for the prayer, please. We're Brown, we'll lead us in that. And following that, Councilman Litton, we'll lead us in the pledge of allegiance. All right, hey, hot mic. My name is Will, I'm from First Christian. I invite you all to pray with me. Only one we give thanks for this place that we call home. We give thanks for the dedicated people who live here that make it worth calling home. From everything, from taking care of properties in town to the reports that have been prepared for tonight. To all of the work that has gone into this place that we call home, we lift up our thanks to you. We ask that you help us to be good neighbors to one another, whether we're across the county or next door or beyond. We ask your blessing on this work that is discussed tonight, help us to hear one another, to discern together, and to make good decisions for those that we've been chosen to represent. All of these things, we also give thanks for these leaders tonight too, who have given up their time to be here. These concerned citizens who are gathered here tonight as well. All of these things will said, and unsaid, we lift up to you in prayer. And, all God's children said, amen. Thank you. Please join me in the words of allegiance. My part is allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one in my nation and under God, indivisible, with authority and justice for all. Okay, thank you. Welcome to the November 25th Council meeting, almost the last one of the year. Okay, first thing up on the agenda is the, I'm going to do these separate. October 28th, regular meeting on the meds, and I would understand there was corrections on that one. I have a question on, it would be our second page. First paragraph, to about halfway through, starts with Chief Brown. Everyone with me? Okay. Chief Brown replied that the tax base goes to the territory and covers all but the mandate of personnel and fees. What I recall from that meeting is that that money does pay for the personnel. We can go back and review the recording to make sure that the language is correct. So we can table these until your next meeting. Was that the only one? We've got another one. We are under resolution 2510, that second paragraph. So same page, second paragraph, under the distribution of abatement fees. About five, six lines down. It's, it mentions an annual 25,000 membership fee to the Economic Growth Council. That's not necessarily a membership fee. It's my understanding that that's more the appropriation that's given to the Growth Council. It is a membership fee, girl. Is that how it's documented in there? I mean that, that would be what it is. That's what it is and what it is. So that is the membership fee, that's how it is. Okay. So it's not that correction, it's just the first one. It's kind of like it. It's just the first one on that mark. Okay. Did anybody else find anything on this one?

{# E23 (Nick, ruling section 1 answer 10): quoting a bill or a court opinion works the way quoting a news article works. Select a passage above and the same panel opens: the passage goes to the official you choose, with this document's own address as its source and its own type. #}
