9/09/25 Commissioners Meeting [15:46-20:48]

And that's fine. Thank you. Next is the emergency management. Probably. Good morning. But enjoying this beautiful weather. Yes. But it's supposed to get hot again this week. This is actually prepared this month. And so we still have several of those weather radios. So we'll push them to get those away. Can't pay. And we had the road reclub came in. And they're wanting to get involved in new service projects and preparedness and disasters. And so they came in because they come in with batteries that they're separate. So they came in with the batteries and these blocks for the weather radio. So they came in and spent about an hour and a half for the volunteers and those ready to go. And we've advertised on social media that they're free to come and get at the counter complex. So we're and we said, um, sure, um, what's in the rest of it, a siren. And they came in and I said, well, I don't because they have some people in some small homes and things and I said, much kind of get some these weather radios and can them out there for such a smaller community. So they can about 25 if you're in Baptist church to hand out the community stuff. And we encourage people to do that. I mean, you know, the kind of abilities looking at the siren through a department and it's pretty great happening there. They come over and get some of those and to them also where they would feel accountable, you know, that would really hurt people or trade leadership or whatever. So what we encourage people to come and get those. I mean, we're aware. Yes, we're thankful to do for providing those. All right. Thank you guys. Thank you. Thank you for out. The next building in this. Very good. I understand. I'm sure it's going to provide everybody with the future together. I have enough to do that. Tell them down. What else can you do? All right. I'm going to walk today. So I'm going to show you there, look at what they've been through. Our room. I'm really moving with the most part. So we're going to work there and place it over there. The jail population numbers this morning. So 77, 62 maintenance, 15 females. Apparently, house nine for VOZ. And they have two rural olds, and then they have two of the six pounds of resistance here. And we'll believe so. So jail numbers. And then I just wanted to highlight, let's kind of a little talk about the responsibility we do at the Sheriff's Department. And that's our six and violent vendor registry. And I think I love people kind of express that while we move into that. You know, people can get on a vendor watch, the Indiana website, or they can access it through the Sheriff's app. Check out all new vendors. We have more scamming, what they live at. While their offenses are, but we're currently monitoring over 140 of vendors in this county. And with that comes annual residency checks that we have to do through each of those vendors' operations and people out and make sure that they're actually living when they say to do over 70 of those, so really about half. They're actually, they're labeled at the offense level. The required is to do it every 90 days. So that's, you know, basically the most important where I can go and do those checks there. And then depending on what level they are, you know, those requirements are happening. How often they register, everybody has to do it, but at least anybody who has to do it every 90 days. And then we actually have a handful of people that have to do it every seven days. So they actually have to come to the Department every seven days and register. Those are the, those are the focus that are, that are homeless or staying in temporary housing. And so we have to keep track of, keep track of all those people. Every change to the madness, every time somebody gets into the vehicle, that's going to get to the vehicle or they change their employment. They have 72 hours to register that with us. So we have to keep track of all that. And we do run a pretty strict, a very strict program. In fact, it was mentioned in court, the other day to an offender, I think the whole London, and so the circumstances to be over there because we run one of the highest shifts as far as we can track the offenders that they've ever seen. So, you know, we have on several offences, yeah, we're on several different things over the last year or so, we're failing to comply with those registered requirements. So we do take these services. It takes a lot of, it takes a lot of hours, it takes a lot of effort every day. It's a, you know, we're talking over there,
