05/19/2025 Council Special Meeting [57:37-62:41]

And let's just say, I'm just throwing numbers out. Let's say it was a million dollars. Even if you budget zero, you're entitled to not million dollars. So you don't need to budget high. Continue budgeting where you are because I like to see this. That just tells me that your general fund has a very accurate budget. Way easier to manage. Page 40 is just kind of a recap of all your cash balances. We'll just work through all of that. Page 31 is the capital improvement thing that was given to us. And we can obviously extend this out or add some things to it. But it's kind of nice to see everything all in one page right now where your capital plans are. So I'm sure you probably have some questions for me. What questions? Yeah. Okay. So we've got a bunch of things on page set in general fund. It was in the name of a million, three hundred and sixty-eight thousand. I'm not counting the numbers. So with the digital, I probably would probably cut some of that. So I have a million AOS making up for you. But that's it for the 25 budget. So you're telling me that keep doing everything the same. And we're okay going to 20. So in 2024, and I'm not sure because I don't have that report with me, but make it up. You know, they're going to that cash well. I do remember that. The balance was going to be on a negative that cash well. Because it looked like you were going to outspend your receipts by that amount. And the reality needed to conduct doing that. So without reformed, you know, I don't know if you've got additional receipts that you weren't planning on. I'm not really sure. We can go back and look. But new budget was, you know, higher than what your estimated receipts were projected to be. Right. But I miss all of them. The projections we had ten months ago. There's nothing like working to jacket right now. And I think that's good because you outperformed your budget last year. So when you're saying that going forward, it looks like that. Because I don't have that. And that's what it was. I think the projection was. So. If you look. Yeah. When you're projected, where you're going to be, you're going to get this going. Actually, I think the turnout is really going to actually go through all of our reserves about 2020's set in. There's a projection we had ten months ago. Okay. I didn't work on your report ten months ago. I don't know. We can go back and look at that. But I feel pretty confident with what we have here. Would the adjustment in the levies account for this? It could. It could. It could be the adjustments from wherever you swept, levied from other funds. Because I told you that you guys did that for 2025. We do. We should do so about getting that cash flow on your report of almost $2 million for 2026 and 2027. We're still showing that. And we're going to add energy of cash reserves. But that's kind of a lot of it has to do with the fact that you have circuit breaker losses that are. I mean, circuit breaker losses combined in the centipede run losses that's going to be probably over a million dollars. Here's what I want to say to to that also is that you really need to look at the receipts on line 25. Because yes, if you budget moving your receipts, you will utilize those cash reserves. And if you look, we are showing that you estimated that you will be above those receipts by $2 million. Oh, yes. And that will cause your cash reserves to come down. But when it's all set and done, like in 2024, your receipts were $18 million to 65. You'll expect $18 million to zero sell it. But the one you're anticipating here today are two million out of this. You can go and pull with the way you circuit breaker losses. But these new cash rates are going down. We're going to continue to go with that. If you budget and spend $19 million. So again, I would need to look back at what you budgeted in 2024, that if you outspend your receipts, yes. And that's why I said when I was on the telephone, remember I said, hey, we've got $17.3 to spend in 2026. That made me difficult to do, because you've been spending $18 million. I think you've been budgeting for sort of $19 million. So yeah, thank you for bringing this up there. It's not all roses and butterflies, right? Because you need to stick to these operating receipts.
