Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Chief Nimham Purple Heart Act''. SEC. 2. AUTHORIZATION FOR AWARD OF THE PURPLE HEART TO DANIEL NIMHAM. Notwithstanding the criteria in section 1 of Executive Order 11016, the President may posthumously award the Purple Heart to Daniel Nimham for injuries incurred during the Revolutionary War while a Commissioned Captain in the Continental Army. <all>
