Masters of the Universe: Nicholas Galitzine on the Future of the Franchise [1:41-4:49]
It's, you know what? I'd say I'm kind of a conversation list. I think I find people really, really fascinating. And I like to think that I can meet people on almost any level because my interests are quite varied. So I think that's my superpower. That's a good superpower. I have, I think. I think that it's a useful one to have as an actor as well. It is pretty handy. It is definitely handy. But I mean, I imagine it's handy in your line of work. It is indeed. Yeah. One of the moments that I really loved in the film was the Wink and Nod moment with a dolphin. I thought it was just fantastic. Were you able to film that before you had the scene in the cell where you echo his words? And didn't it help you kind of call back to that as your performance? Yeah, it's, we did manage to shoot it before. And it's funny because Dolph sort of delivers it with a sort of a sincerity and a sage-ness. I'm really when Adam delivers it. It's almost like he's come up with it himself. Very different interpretation. But I mean, what is surreal and incredibly fun experience to have Dolph there and have that moment with him? And we had a great time chatting at the premiere last night with such an owner. I was so exciting to see him on the red carpet. As soon as I saw him, I was like, I know what's happening. I know we're going to get that moment in a paid off. So well, something I love about films is costumes. And I love that Adam has kind of three distinct costumes in this film, his normal Prince Adam when he's on Earth. And then you have his, he man outfit. And then also the post-credit outfit. Which one do you think really truly feels like who Prince Adam is? Oh, God, I mean, I think they're all him. You know, we talked about multitudes. And really, I think that, you know, I mean, who knows? Maybe the gap or J. Crue or whatever he's wearing it is. Maybe that's not truly who he is. But he just, he wants to feel, I don't think he wants to feel like a part of the collective, I think, as well. And he wants to explore these different parts of himself and be all of those things. And I think that's what makes him so accessible. And the way he's so empowering to the people around him, because he really can fit into any of these sort of, these bodies and these shapes. And so, yeah, say all of them in a way the way. It's like another super power for him. It will exactly be what he needs to be in the right moment. And then my last question for you guys, you know, what was your reaction to the Shira post-credit scene? Because that, like, blew everybody's mind last night. I heard it was going down on set. I was in my trailer, so I need to come and see this. It looks very exciting, obviously. And there are so many wonderful characters, but obviously the Heman Shira relationship is a very exciting prospect. So we will, we will see what happens. I know, fingers crossed. I need at least three more films. OK. I'm glad done with this in your words. So I'll tell the studio that we've got three more in coming just for you. Well, thank you so much. This was fantastic. And I can't wait for everybody to see Masters at the Universe. Thank you so much.
