Richard E. Grant and Claire Foy on Celebrity Traitors UK Season 2, Savage House [2:02-5:45]

I mean, I shaved half my head for something, but that also does, I'm not very insane to answer. I'm much too sane. I don't think I've ever done anything really. Have you ever done anything really nuts or something? No, but I, but in talking about what the sex life is of the character that I'm playing, and then their secret fantasies within that character, if somebody overheard that, they could be, they could be worried. But that wasn't my question. That's your question. I know. I'm trying to be more interesting by adding you into it. Please pick a number Richard. Eight, please. If you could have a song play when you enter a room, what song would it be and why? Wow. Don't reign on my parade, sung by Barbara Streisand, the soundtrack version from 1968. That's what you love about it. Why? Because it is a mantra of going, don't put me down. Don't say I can't do this. Don't say I can't do that. Because from when I was a little boy, and I voiced stupidly when I was 12 years old to somebody that I wanted to be an actor, people said, you don't have a chance in hell where you look the way everything. So that is a great, that's that's what I'd have in my head. Claire, please pick another number if you don't mind. Sixteen. What emotion is surprisingly difficult for you to fake convincingly? Laughter. It's not an emotion. Joy is not that hard, but I think genuine hysterical humour is incredibly difficult to portray on the screen. Unless because you have to do things multiple times, things are often only funny once. Yeah, but if you pop a gummy, you'll be fine. Unless you're on something, but yeah, I think it's very difficult, actually, to do convincingly, and I think you notice when you watch something and someone is actually genuinely laughing, that it makes you laugh. It's reciprocated, but if you're sat there just like, I don't feel anything as they're laughing. And I laugh all the time, so it's hard. And I do think, yeah, I find things funny, but it's that real, real hysterical, can't stop laughing. Laughter, I think, is the hardest for me. For sure, please pick another number. Number four, please. Number four, if you could see any musician, a live or dead in concert, who would you see end why? Barbara Streisand, of course. I've seen her many times. This poor man is reeling around. Yeah, that's, that's who I would like to see. Please. Okay, jumping into some others now, we're done with those questions. If you could actually go back in time to 1715 when Savage House takes place for a week, would you be willing to go back there? And I asked because a lot, this movie depicts it, but a lot of people don't realize how dirty everything was back then. And there was no clean water and medicine was, you know, chaotic. I definitely know, as long as I could make it out alive and I didn't get smallpox, then I'd love to go back. I'd go in with nose plugs. Well, wouldn't you want to smell it just to see? No, because it'd be so rank. I think that if you saw somebody as beautiful as Lady Savage and you knew that an armpit stand like an open grave, you wouldn't go, never mind, lick her bum. So, you know, I think that she'd have to be put in a pair of boiling water first. You know, dear, I'm looking someone's bum who's so filthy, it's so awful. It is. But I'm sure she did wash it. Oh, yes, there's a kindness. She's got my man's cell. To wash it. Yeah. Ranch, wash the ladies bum first.
