The Euphoria Finale Has Divided the Internet - Weekly Watch Report [20:15-25:16]

I'll give Hacks an A. I really did love it. I thought they ended it in such a great way. They're just so good. And anytime they do. Like I do love the storyline of like. When you watch a show and they work on TV. And then like the show ends with them making a TV show about them. But you're watching a TV show. Right. Right. And I'm like, it's happened before. And every time I'm like, yeah. Like it's just like it's just like a fun storyline. It's like, oh, they, you know, hit there. Hit the big success. I loved Jimmy and Kayla taken over. I thought that was great. But yeah, it was just like it was a really well done. Really well done final. Jean Smart is just so good. She really is just incredible. And I really, really enjoyed it. Summer House reunion is an A- because it really was good. And I'm assuming you'll stay that way. I liked this episode of In the City. I'll give it a B- because I think it's getting better. I'm getting more interested in these characters. I feel like a lot of this background on what's going on with Amanda and Kyle is just like good context for everything. That's been going on and seeing it all play out. And I'm almost caught up on Southern hospitality. I was trying to catch up before the reunion. I think I'm on episode maybe 11. Not quite sure. But they were leaving Maddie's international gigs. She's an international DJ now. So that was a big point. Southern hospitality is like a solid C-plus for me. And that's complimentary. Like I do enjoy watching. But it's not one that like every week, I'm like, oh, my God, I have to watch a new episode. It's like when I have time, I can catch up on a bunch of them. And I do enjoy watching it. Friends and neighbors episode 9. And this is the penultimate episode. Know as you watch it. I did. Big time spoiler. If you haven't watched episode 9. Big time spoiler. I'm going to say it again. Spoiler. If you haven't watched episode 9. Our guy. He bit it. And he was having a great episode. By the way, we get some James Mars in singing in this episode. Oh, incredible singing. Well, yeah, we can do it all. Have you not seen enchanted? My parents were watching. And my dad was like, this fucking guy. He's also obsessed with James Mars and I don't know. James Mars has a spell on a bunch of people. I mean, look at him. It's, it's, you know, it's hard not to. I'm very. He just does not do it for me. It's not even. It's like everything about he's so charismatic, you know. He is charismatic. He is. And he is really just a great act. Like this is a really good character. It's a great actor. This is a good. This is like a really a really like. I mean, the whole his character. My thing was this episode and honestly like the last few. I feel like for 40 minutes. There's like not much happening. And then the last 10 minutes. It's like awesome. Yeah. But. No, that, that is fair. I'm very much ready for a coupe. And I always forget her name. But Amanda Pete to get back together. Yeah. Although she's in that case. And my god, could they stop showing the frickin dog clip? Like, it's like they've replayed it 12 times in this episode. Like it was like, we get it. You can stop replaying it. But I feel like there's a lot that's going to need to happen in the finale. Because I feel like there's a lot of stuff with all the money that I don't quite understand. And now that he's dead, I'm like, where do they go? Right. And it's also like at the beginning of the episode. When coupe was taken in that van. But James Marson was saying it wasn't him. Or was he just like. Or was he just not? Yeah. But a different person when he's like threatening his family at the end. And it wasn't that type of guy like. It seems like James Marson just, you know, he was doing a lot of drugs. Academy. And what went into it. Yeah. He's like, you know, all of a sudden the episode ends. And he's dead. So. Yeah. James Marson loves dying in a show. He does. And he made it nine episodes. At least one time. Yeah. And that was the point I was done. You know, they didn't want him to show that. And then someone, like, I thought he was dying episode four. Like, I thought he was gone way earlier than this.
