Larkins ── Case No.: 22A-EV-02844 Court: Indiana Court of Appeals Date: June 27, 2023 Author: Judge Elizabeth Tavitas County of Origin: Marion Decision: Affirmed Judge Bailey and Judge Kenworthy concur In 2015, Larkins, the owner of residential property located in Indianapolis (the “Property”), approached Johnson, a real estate agent, regarding selling the Property to him. Johnson was interested in purchasing the Property, and he wrote a letter to Larkins asking for “a 24 month period . . . to get this financed.” Ex. Vol. III p. 3. On May 17, 2016, Johnson drafted and the parties signed a “Contract for Deed” (“Contract”) regarding the sale of the Property. Id. at 4.
