Baltimore's auto theft task force later found the car that prompted a brief chase along I-895. Officers soon caught up with the man and arrested him. The bank was temporarily closed while investigators processed the car. The police said the car was locked in a door of elections, where the room is a little emptier than usual for the first day of canvassing. As our placement ballots were just sent out following a vendor error. Last month, the Maryland State Board of Elections announced it would have to resend more than 500,000 mail-in ballots after the vendor inadvertently printed some that were for the incorrect party. This has just under 50,000 replacement ballots in the jurisdiction were only sent out over the weekend. He says replacement ballots will be prioritized with original ballots kept separately and only counted if no replacement is received. The original ballots are going to have to wait until after all the other ballots have been counted.
