The task force was investigating drug activity at Creekside and Gatewood Trailer Parks located in Marshall County after receiving reports of increased drug activity in the area. On July 28, 2021, Detective Bryant and Detective Workman were stationed in undercover vehicles, while a few marked police units were patrolling the surrounding area.
