Raines walked past the points of sale without paying for the items. Walmart employee Damien Windhorst, who worked in asset protection, noticed that the items in Raines’s cart were not in bags and that Raines walked past the points of sale. Raines made eye contact with Windhorst and then quickened his pace to leave the store.
