The Laughlins alleged that they are the “owners/lessees of a billboard advertising sign [ ] and billboard advertising Sign Lease” located at the southwest corner of the intersection of 226th Street and U.S. 31 in Hamilton County. Appellant’s App. Vol. II p. 17. The Laughlins alleged that the original term of the lease was eight years and that they had the right to renew the lease for ten successive eight-year terms.
