On June 2, 2023, the trial court sentenced Mitchell to three years, all suspended to probation, with home detention as a condition of probation. On July 18, 2023, the State alleged that Mitchell violated the conditions of her probation by: (1) committing escape, a Level 6 felony; (2) failing to timely report to the probation department; and (3) failing to pay home detention fees.
