Harris never bought the weapon, and by December, Watkins’ and Harris’ communications became hostile. Harris later testified that Watkins sent Instagram messages threatening to kill him. On March 4, 2021, Harris was working at a Walmart store when Watkins and his friend, Frederick Small, arrived at the store.
