Lee, Gavin’s roommate, was also at the party. At the party, J.B. and B.D. smoked marijuana and drank alcohol, and J.B. became intoxicated. Lee showed interest in J.B., but J.B. was not interested in Lee. Around four o’clock in the morning, J.B. and B.D. wanted to leave the party, but they were unable to get a ride. Gavin allowed them to stay the night in Lee’s bedroom.
