Lee was also wanted on a warrant in South Carolina for attempted murder. Lee attempted to curry favor with the State and, on November 16, 2022, was interviewed by South Bend Police Department (“SBPD”) Officer Damon Lim. On November 30, 2022, Officer Lim applied for a warrant to search a home on Marine Street based on the information provided by Lee.
