Kara Givens, a woman with whom Boyd had a relationship in the past, was also at the bar, as was Given’s boyfriend, Jerry Hale. After the bar closed, Boyd and Nakia drove to Uncle Norman’s, an event center in Evansville owned by George Madison. Nakia’s mother, Brianna, met them there.
