The man was deceased, and he was identified as Marshall Banter. It was later determined that Banter died of a fentanyl overdose. A cell phone recovered near Banter’s body contained text messages between Banter and Douglas Dunlap that appeared consistent with drug activity. Officers contacted Dunlap, who confirmed that he purchased drugs from a woman known to him as “Nayy.” Tr. Vol.
