The woman agreed to work as a confidential informant (“CI”) for the police in exchange for the State not filing a petition to revoke her placement. The CI participated in several controlled buys involving two individuals she knew as “Mike” (Jaylin Smith) and “Fresh” (Henry), both of whom she had previously met while purchasing drugs.
