The vehicle was a black Toyota Corolla with an Iowa license plate. Officer Hess ran the license plate through his computer system and confirmed that the vehicle was stolen. Officer Hess was behind the Corolla at a red light and activated his emergency lights. The Corolla immediately accelerated and fled.
