Forgey seeking reelection to Noblesville school board

Noblesville Schools Board of Trustees member Joe Forgey will seek reelection for a third term in the November school board race. A pediatric dentist, Forgey was elected to the board in 2018. His second term is set to expire at the end of this year. Forgey “As a longtime member of the Noblesville community and proud grandpa of 13, I care deeply about the quality of our schools,” Forgey stated. “In my eight years serving on the school board, I’ve seen just how hard our staff and teachers work for our 10,000-plus students. The more I’ve learned about how others operate around the state, the more I can say that Noblesville Schools really is a model district. I’m proud to play a part in that.” Forgey said he is running to ensure the district is responsible with every tax dollar and to continue the momentum of the school’s accomplishments. “At the end of the day, our schools are the heart of the community, and when they’re doing well, all of Noblesville does well,” he stated. Forgey is endorsed by Noblesville Mayor Chris Jensen. “Noblesville is fortunate to have Joe Forgey serving on the Noblesville Schools Board of Trustees,” Jensen stated. “Dr. Forgey is the definition of a servant leader, and our community is a better place because of him. I am honored to support his reelection campaign and would invite all citizens to join me.” Forgey, who also serves on the Noblesville Parks Board, is a graduate of Butler University, the Indiana School of Dentistry and the Miller Ambassadors program. He has coached basketball at the Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville and soccer with the Noblesville Soccer Club. For more, visit Joe Forgey for School Board on Facebook.
