AN ACT relating to enhancing nutrition in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

Create a new section of KRS Chapter 205 to define terms; require the secretary of the Cabinet for Health and Family Services to request a waiver from the United States Department of Agriculture to exclude certain foods from being purchased using Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits; require the request to be submitted annually until a waiver is granted if instructed by the General Assembly.
