AN ACT relating to maternal health disparities in perinatal care.
Amend KRS 211.680 to expand the scope of the legislative intent and findings; create new sections of KRS Chapter 211 to define terms; require licensed health facilities under KRS Chapter 216B to provide each patient with written information regarding the patient's rights and implement an evidence-based maternal health disparities program for all health providers involved in the perinatal care of patients within those facilities; require the Department for Public Health to track data on pregnancy-related and severe morbidity.
