Tr. Vol. II p. 36. Officer Hughes knocked on the door to Unit 21. Finally, [Gass] answered the door by just cracking it a few inches so I could see him. I identified who I was and why I was there. At that time, I was able to smell the odor of marijuana emitting from the room. He had slammed the door and locked it. I knocked a couple more times.
