I love the way that he's wired and I'm excited for him. He's got some great vets, whether it's myself, ask questions to or great vets on the defensive side now to help make sure that he gets off to a great start. Overshown, meanwhile, he's a worker for sure. He wants to get better every day. His film speaks for itself. I think he came in already with the media talking about he's a first round thing a lot from him. He just kind of disrupted it, just coming in working every day hard. Just wanted to help do whatever to help this team get better. Can confirm I have something a lot from Caleb Downs. As I think I can argue, more so than most draft picks, I'm the number one fan for Caleb Downs. I have my expectations for him. Even in a role that might not be the splashiest or sexiest from a stats perspective, I think what the Cowboys will be asking out of Downs. What they will be hoping to get out of Caleb Downs is essential to this defense. I think the fact that that's already picked up, like I like the way he's wired on, he hasn't been around Caleb Downs a lot yet. But the fact that he picked up on that early is a good sign. Sometimes the players can see through BS or whatever if that ends up in the case faster than some coaches can. Not that there's any BS with Downs, but I think quickly identifying, yeah, he works hard, he's wired the right way. Demarvean Oversh own had some high praise for defensive coordinator, Christian Parker. As well, again, all this coming from the home-run Derby quotes. Oversh own said, when you see the scheme actually playing out in real time, you're just knowing that, okay, this is what's going to help us win a survival. How he explains the calls, how he goes into the depth on the reasons why we're doing everything. When you break it like that, a guy like CP comes to work, ready to work every day. He's quizzing us in the room, making sure we're ready. That's the kind of leadership you need. So I am very excited about him. And of course, linebackers coach, Scott Simon's. I don't want to read too much of the quotes, but certainly sounds like someone who likes being around Christian Parker, a lot more like being around Maddie Berthus. Granted, the time I was showing that health of the year was almost cooked, and he was not the same player necessarily either. Big picture for Christian Parker that I do want to bring up and acknowledge here as well, specifically as it relates to Demarvean Oversh own, was Oversh own also made a comment about he might get to not just be lined up on one side, and asked to go make a play elsewhere, that there's some more deployment tweaks used for Oversh own, which I interpret as, I bet he gets the blitz more. I thought that was a huge mistake by Maddie Berthus. I have, we have seen Oversh own be a quality solid blitzer, and that was not something that Eberthus did a lot of. That's his coaching system. Parker, based on what I think we know about him, will be more inclined to blitz. A lot of those linebackers can do good stuff going downhill. Not to say Oversh own is going to be lined up as like a three-for-outs-a-landbacker a lot, but he has flexibility, I think. I'm excited to see how Oversh own gets deployed, and most importantly, knock on wood. He ends up staying healthy and has a fully healthy season. Time back into the Parker and Downs conversation here. Of these two players, who do you think ends up having the bigger impact overall over the course of the season? Get those votes in for me. P for Christian Parker, D for Caleb Downs. Let me know in the comment section of today's show.
