Dallas Cowboys Get GOOD News On George Pickens, Klayton Adams, Caleb Downs And C [0:00-5:03]

Here's just coming up on today's Cowboys Report presented by prize picks. Dak Prescott sounds off on George Pickens, some more Caleb Downs praise and Christian Parker hype and some Clayton Adams news, producer AP put the rowdy graphic on there and frankly we are considering a employee change at that point because of it. But we'll keep it positive here, we are narrowly behind against not that positive. In the like battle against the Raiders Report their shorts have really carried them as of late. Help us out by liking today's video, please and thank you and we'll gain some ground on Raiders. Dak Prescott speaking at the Cowboys, I think it's the reliant home run derby, their charity event each year. Spoke about George Pickens and it sounded pretty positive, here's what that said. I've just showed George my support. The guy that I know George is, obviously he's on the tag, so when he has to be there and ready to play he's going to be there. He's a hell of a talent, we've thrown this off season so I'm comfortable with where he's at and I'm excited for when he can get in the building and get rolling. Dak has been through this before, he's been franchise Dak twice actually by the organization and then last year went up until the day of the game for week one or two years ago before got an extension, which is, it doesn't happen in the NFL. We have known previously that Dak and Prescott have been throwing and working out together which does bode very well, you can maybe even argue that that stuff's more important than some of the voluntary OTA stuff when it's the same coach and everything there. Dak did mention Pickens will be there when he needs to be and that does really stand out to me as noteworthy and impactful and hopefully means he's there for minutes where Mini-Camp went, you know he needs to be there for his contract, I think you could argue whether he needs to be there to be able to go for week one, but that's splitting hairs and maybe trying to infer too much necessarily. I'm not worried about him skipping the OTA, he's like that's fine, like I get his upset, I don't blame him, totally fair, you know, make your little mini-point and then show it for Mini-Camp and training camp because like opting into fines, I just don't understand that. I'm out here watching Jacobi were set as a starter for the Cardinals, a quarterback, not guaranteed though, holding out of OTA, he's from a team that just signed the new vet and drafted somebody, I'm like that's bad advice, I don't think they will get to be getting George Pickens that type of bad advice. So will George Pickens attend mandatory Mini-Camp once that gets going in a little under a month? Why for yes and for no? It's got to Clayton Adams here, he is part of the NFL's Modified Accelerator Program that is for coaches and front office members, originally that was designed to increase underrepresented groups diversity in key leadership positions, but they stopped it slash put it on pause last year. This year it's now open to all coaches and front office members where they focus on those who are maybe a bit closer to being head coach or GM's. And there's two ways, look at this specifically for Clayton Adams. Good news first. Clayton Adams being part of this Modified Accelerator Program is a sign, he is a good coach and spoiler alert, you want to have good coaches on your teams. That's a good idea. Bad news and it's more of a champagne bad news problem. If the Cowboys have more sustained, continue success, that could be interpreted as a sign that he's going to be a head coach in the not too distant future. I will say, Adams is profile as a non-play calling offensive coordinator with an offensive line background, that doesn't usually generate a bunch of inters. That's not normally the type of role that teams are falling over themselves to go get. But clearly, good coach, at least he's regarded as one in the NFL. So we'll Clayton Adams get at least some head coaching interviews this next off season. Good for yes, zero for no, let me know in the comments section of today's show. Let's move to some Caleb Downs praise here. Both Dak Prescott and Demarvian Overshone had some praise for what Caleb Downs has done so far. Before we dive into that though, today's show is made possible by prize picks. The playoffs are here for basketball and hockey. The reggae is on her way for baseball as well. And it's on the cash in with prize picks, America's number one sports picks app and the best place to win cash while watching sports. The app is really easy to use. You pick more or less on a few player stats and lock in your lineup. For example, one lineup that you guys can do is some rookie season long lineups. Ken Yannes-Cedeek, more than 404.5 receiving yards, Jordan Tyson, more than his touchdowns. And of course, Caleb Downs, more than a second, more than his INTs.
