Franklin County recognizes, honors emergency medical providers
A Midstate county recognized local emergency medical providers ahead of Emergency Medical Services Week.
Franklin County Commissioners issued a proclamation recognizing May 17-23 as Emergency Services Week in Franklin County.
“Calling emergency services is something we all hope to avoid, yet it’s reassuring to know that highly trained, dedicated professionals are there when we need them most,” said Franklin County Commissioner Chairman Dean Horst. “Words will never fully express our appreciation for the selfless, humanitarian service these men and women provide to support our communities and the people who live in them.”
By recognizing Emergency Medical Services Week, officials said the commissioners are urging residents to show their appreciation for the contributions these individuals perform in ensuring the health, safety and well-being of everyone who lives in, works in or visits Franklin County.
