H.J.S.V., born on August 12, 2002, is Saavedra’s granddaughter and lived with
her mother in Guatemala in 2017. H.J.S.V. had frequent contact with Saavedra
via video calls, and, around the time she turned fifteen years old in August of
2017, the character of the calls changed, with Saavedra telling her to “show him
things about [her] body” and commenting that she “already had a better body.”
