Grimes and Kirts surveilled a neighborhood for two hours, driving their vehicle slowly through the streets, turning around, and pulling into different driveways then backing out during this time. At one point, Grimes exited Kirts’s vehicle and walked through the neighborhood. Around 1:10 a.m., a resident of the neighborhood called the Crawfordsville Police Department to report the suspicious activity.
