Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``American Energy Worker Opportunity Act of 2024''. SEC. 2. OFFICE OF AMERICAN ENERGY WORKERS. (a) Establishment of Office.--Not later than 60 days after the date of enactment of this Act, there shall be established within the Department of the Treasury an office to be known as the Office of American Energy Workers. The Office of American Energy Workers shall be headed by an Assistant Secretary who shall be appointed by the Secretary of the Treasury (referred to in this section as the ``Secretary'').
