Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``EV Charging Accessibility Act''. SEC. 2. RULEMAKING TO ADOPT RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ACCESSIBILITY OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS. (a) In General.--Not later than 18 months after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board shall finalize the proposed rule issued on September 3, 2024, and titled ``American With Disabilities Act and Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Guidelines; EV Charging Stations'' (89 Fed. Reg. 71215). (b) Requirements.--The Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board shall include in the final rule required under this section the minimum standards for electric vehicle charging stations (as th
