Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Photographing Incarcerated Criminals To Update Records and Evidence Act'' or the ``PICTURE Act''. SEC. 2. PHOTOGRAPHIC DIRECTORY OF FEDERAL PRISONERS. (a) In General.--Chapter 301 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following: ``Sec. 4015. Photographic directory of Federal prisoners ``The Director of the Bureau of Prisons shall maintain a photographic directory that includes a photograph of each prisoner in the custody of the Bureau of Prisons, with an uncovered and unobstructed view of the face of the prisoner.''. (b) Clerical Amendment.--The table of sections for chapter 301 of title 18, United States Code is amended by adding at the end the following: ``4015. Photographic directory of Federal prisoners.''. <all>
