Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Stop Gang Violence Act''. SEC. 2. REPORTING ON GANG AFFILIATION. Section 505(f) of title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (34 U.S.C. 10156(f)) is amended by inserting ``and jurisdictions that include, as part of such reporting to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (including the National Gang Intelligence Center), information on offenses that are suspected to be gang- related'' before the period. <all>
