Auditions are coming up at the Brown County Playhouse for the musical
You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown
, based on the beloved “Peanuts” comic strip characters created by Charles M. Schulz.
Auditions are scheduled for Monday, May 18, and Tuesday, May 19, at the playhouse in downtown Nashville from 5-8 p.m. both nights. Directors are seeking performers for the show’s well-known roles, including Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Schroeder, Sally and Snoopy. The production features music and lyrics by Clark Gesner and follows the everyday adventures and humor of the Peanuts gang through a series of songs and scenes. The performance will be held in August.
Those auditioning are typically asked to prepare a short song selection and should be prepared for readings from the script. Rehearsal and performance schedules, along with additional audition details and registration information, are available through the playhouse website.
