When Ward returned, she reported that she had been hit in the mouth by her abusive boyfriend. The temporary filling that had been placed by Dr. Sim the day before had fallen out, and there were micro fractures around the tooth that had not previously been present. On March 23, 2018, Scott asked Ward over Facebook how her appointment had gone.
