According to the probable-cause affidavit, Hauser had been driving with McIntosh and, after they began arguing, McIntosh “used his left arm and reached across her, putting his forearm into her throat.” Appellant’s App. Vol. II p. 21. Hauser called the police, and when officers arrived, they found McIntosh in possession of methamphetamine.
