History of the Property George and Elizabeth Babbitt (collectively, “the Babbitts”) are the former owners of the Property. The Babbitts executed a Home Equity Conversion Mortgage and note as to the Property in August of 2005. That mortgage was later assigned to HUD. George predeceased Elizabeth, who died in February of 2019. Both George and Elizabeth died intestate. Mills is the Babbitts’ only child and sole heir to the Babbitts’ estate.
