When G.R.’s friend went home, G.R. walked with her part of the way to her friend’s apartment. As it began to get dark and G.R. had not yet returned home, her stepfather, G.R.’s mother, and others went out to look for her but were unsuccessful. Police searched the woods and eventually located G.R. using a drone that had infrared capabilities.
