On August 31, 2021, Miller and Ashley Wagner were working at the Shop when a man, who was later determined to be Sincere, came in and indicated that he “was looking for a missing person.” Tr. Vol. II p. 115. Sincere claimed to be a detective and asked Miller for the “security footage that [the Shop] had and receipts and just any information that we had from the day prior.” Tr. Vol. II p. 115.
