that base barrier that churches are just like, oh, well, we don't know what to do. So go find a deaf church if you can, and that becomes harder from time as well. Yeah, absolutely. You talk about, you know, like you just mentioned, it's an access problem, but it's also an inclusion problem. You know, how can churches really include more of the deaf community in the way they function and their everyday life, you know? Yeah. At a deaf person, the one place where we don't want to experience the depression and barrier of the church. And so, the church had to move from not just being insensible, but inclusion, and learning how to be an ally truly to deaf people. And so, from that, that really began from listening to deaf people in their stories, their needs and what they need in the church figuring out, just like at chapter two shows that how the church function, the same way that's how we should approve deaf ministry or any ministry of disability. It's like, hmm, there's to me, let's figure out how we're going to meet that need to ensure that deaf people can thrive in their community and the church and the kingdom of God as well. Yeah, I want to talk about the organization that you founded, the Deaf Millennial Project. You know, how did God lead you to begin this organization? Wow, after that took a few years, and it was just something that the Lord had began to impress my heart and really just the next generation. How are we going to get it to them involved? And that's where it all stirred up. Let's figure out how we're going to get the next generation to involve and God had truly blessed that. We've been able to see a waking conference come out of that, where we're seeing the next generation gathering together from all across the US to say, hey, God, we're in, we want to be a part of your movement. And that's just been a more thing that God had to bless us with and continue to bless. Yes, absolutely. Well, I also want to talk about John 9. That passage of Scripture, you have beautiful insights. And I think insights that every Christian, whether they're, you know, they're hearing or not, can really take away. Can you just share your, like, personal insights from that passage of John 9, the man born blind? Yes. The Scripture tells us that the disciples come to Jesus and ask him this question. The question for who's sinned? Was it the blind man, parent or him, and why he became blind? And he did give the clear and beautiful actression. And he said, neither. For he was made this way. Why? But that the glory of God could be displayed through him. It would give us a beautiful picture of how God created you and I, that hearing, blind out blind, that he is an intentional in his creation so that we could display the glory of God through our life. And so for death for me, personally, that was a big impact because it reminded me that God created me for his good, for his perfect, for his plan. Yeah, that's beautiful. I also, before I let you go, we don't have that much time. But I wanted to talk about your work in an island off of Madagascar. It's just a beautiful picture of what you and your teams are doing around the world to spread the message of the gospel. But can you just share that story of what happened off of that island? Yeah. So our team through Convert International, the deaf college team, began a partnership with the people there. And what we learned is that they're UUPG, which is unreach, un-engade people group. And if you don't know, deaf people are the number one unreach, un-engade people group in the world. And so we began to have conversation and we eventually sent people there. And through that, we meet a guy named Christopher, who's 20 years old, and doesn't know about Gita, but we began to communicate the gospel to him and it's highly likely that he understood. And the next day he was baptized, well, Christopher and France will throw a party in a bite about 20 different deaf people. And then again, they will share the gospel story. And they will see, Saul will come to believe as well. Well, about seven months later, we sent a team back again, and sure enough, through Christopher and his friend, they began to fear the gospel more and more and more becoming elite believers. And Christopher is that something that really touched my heart and touched many, he said, I want Gita's spread like COVID. And for him, that's how he knows the gospel to be spread. And so that's what we want to replicate all around the world so that every deaf person has asked us
