As a condition of her community-corrections placement, Mitchell was not allowed to possess firearms. On March 9, 2022, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (“IMPD”) officers, including Detective Jeremy Torres, went to Mitchell’s residence and knocked on the door. No one answered for “over five minutes.” Tr. Vol. III p. 150.
