That same day, the juvenile court ordered the Children removed from Mother’s home. On November 5, 2021, the juvenile court held a fact-finding hearing that Mother failed to attend, after which it found the Children to be CHINS. The juvenile court placed the Children in the care of their maternal grandmother (“Grandmother”) due to Mother’s housing instability and substance-abuse issues.
