Reacting to The Ick List Problem [21:51-26:54]

And this doesn't just suck for their dating lives. This sucks for their entire sense of self-worth. Do you know how bad we need confident men? And let's not get it twisted. We need men. In general, you can try to deny it all you want, but it is a solid rock hard fact. And if you don't care about men's mental health, which you should, this is a little... I do agree that we need men. Like, I see a lot of women say, like, we don't need men. I can do all of this by myself. And I'm like, I sure. A lot of things in men do, we can do as well. I don't disagree with that. But I also don't think that we should ignore the fact that there's a lot of things that we do need men for that you probably cannot do. Or, and if it's not that you can't do it, there's probably something that you're not willing to do. You really hate to do that a man would do with ease because he doesn't really care about doing it. I do think we need men. I know there's a lot of stuff that I cannot do that there's probably a man there that can with ease. Really half of the population that we're talking about then really consider how it's actually affecting you when you live and die by these egg lists. You can call them standards if you want to be delusional, but the reality is you are conditioning yourself to see standard regular human conditions as repulsive, which is incredibly unhealthy. You're not protecting your peace, you're putting yourself on a fast track to becoming a chronically insufferable, constantly angry Karen. But we can't stop these assholes from being assholes. These type of women who make egg lists who record and shame men online for clout, they're just going to remain repressed angry losers with their own lows. And I'm going to keep being it because they make videos like that and then they only attract people like that. They're for you pages are only full with people like that so they're going to stay in that same bubble forever. Self-esteem issues for the rest of their lives. Because let's be real, a lot of this is projection. There are a lot of people out there who truly do not know how to feel good about themselves without putting other people down. That's true. As we all say on this channel, we can't save these hos but we can learn from these hos. So what is there to learn from all of this? Well, first of all, we now know that if you see a woman who posts eclists, then thank God that she's showing off her red flags right away. So now we know that it's time to either dump her or just dismiss her completely as another obtuse troll. But also that it is time to start committing the ultimate act of rebellion against these losers simply by being ourselves. We do not need them. I also find it like so interesting that the people that make these eclists, right? Then they make these videos and they're like, oh, new eclan log. They make them as if everyone is going to agree with them like they're dried about it. Because I said so, everyone else should be agreeing with a that's an ik. And to fit into this very narrow mold designed by unattended iPad babies online. We need uniquely confident men who are unaffraid to present themselves as exactly who they are to the world. I could ask a lot as the advocate what qualities and men I think are most important for fatherhood and leadership roles. And when I do get asked this question, I don't respond with stupid shit. Like he has to be a man who doesn't ride a bike or doesn't take the bus or doesn't tread water weird. No, you don't. Men are gentle, compassionate, and patient. Men who are creative and present in the moment, and excitable. But most of all, we need men who are confident in their weird, quirky, and unreliable. Men who embrace the parts of themselves that less confident people try to hide from the world because they're afraid of being judged. Because Goddamn it, we need more weirdos and oddballs. Yeah, we do. We want goofy dudes and silly Billy. Yes. I'm so sick of everyone trying to force men into these tiny boring boxes of, you have to be stoic and unserious and no whimsy allowed. I want whimsy dammit. If men don't get to embrace the whimsy of life, what is the fucking point? So as we wrap up this video, I want you guys to promise me something. I need you guys to promise me something. First, promise that you'll like the video and subscribe if you haven't already. I promise. And you promise to yourself. It's promise. But second, promise me that going forward, you're going to commit unapologetically to the parts of yourself that make you uniquely you. Stop trying to stifle or mask the parts of yourself that you think conventional normies aren't going to like. Yeah, there's something to say about it like. Who the fuck cares about them? If you're alive, you're living here. What's important is that you are happy in the end and that you're doing stuff only for other people while you're few miserable. What a die man. Because the reality is, if they do give you shit, they're probably just projecting the hurt that they feel because they're not confident enough to be who they really are. So go ahead and comment your thoughts below on this deranged trend and all these superficial judgments. And if you don't know what to comment, just type boo-ick lists to help the algorithm. As always, if you want even more devicate content, I do go live on Mondays at 11.30 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.
