The attesting physician represented that there was probable cause to believe N.H. was mentally ill, dangerous to himself and others, and gravely disabled as he was actively psychotic, paranoid, and had threatened to kill his parents. The trial court granted the request for emergency detention. On October 26, 2023, the Hospital filed a Petition for Involuntary Commitment, alleging that N.H.
